Blog Entry #7- Second Interview Preparation




Who is she?
Dr.Hinh will be my candidate for my next interview. She is a very skilled optometrist with well over 10 years in the field. Dr.Hinh is currently working at "Chino Optometry Center", she has worked here for well over 10 years. She is a licensed optometrist with exceptional reviews. From what I have seen and heard, she has always treated her patients with respect and kindness. There is not one patients that dislikes her methods of practice.

Interview Questions 
  1. Can you please state your name and occupation? Where do you work and for how long?
  2. What is your background history regarding your college education. 
  3. How important is a solid GPA as an undergrad important to graduate work? Why? 
  4. Do you feel your grades gave you a special advantage when applying to optometry school? 
  5. Were you one of the top students in your graduating class? If so, what was your strategy to be #1. 
  6. In your opinion, what makes up a successful optometrist?
  7. What is the most important aspect of becoming an optometrist?
  8. Do you have any special certifications compared to other optometrist? please explain.
  9. Do you have any future plans in obtaining more special certifications? If so what are they? 
  10. When looking back to your college days, would you have changed anything to either improve or satisfy your journey in becoming an optometrist?

  1. Rephrase you questions so that they are not yes/no. Also, asking her exact GPA might be a little weird. Maybe, How important is a solid GPA as an undergrad important to graduate work? Why?
